Super HICAS

A later version of the HICAS system, dubbed Super HICAS, includes an electric drive for steering the rear axle, making the system much lighter. Super HICAS even uses its own computer to control the system instead of speed sensors.

Rear wheel steering in Super HICAS and HICAS systems is limited to approximately 1 degree in either direction.
