How Suprotec Active Plus works
Modern engines, in comparison with the engines of the end of the 20th century, do not differ in resource. To extend the life of modern gasoline engines, the Suprotec Active Plus additive has been developed. This composition, as well as a similar additive from the same manufacturer Suprotec Active Regular, belongs to the class of tribological additives.
The additive creates a thin protective layer on worn surfaces of rubbing metal parts. This layer has several properties:
- reduces the gap between the parts and reduces the backlash in the contact pair;
- creates a protective film, which, when the load increases, is damaged and subsequently restored again, keeping the base metal intact;
- reduces the coefficient of friction;
- due to the porous structure, it allows you to keep more oil on the working surfaces.
All these qualities of the Active Plus tribological composition lead to several positive effects:

Instructions for use
Initially, before applying the additive, you need to find out how much oil is in the engine. If there are up to 5 liters of lubricant in the motor, one bottle will be required for one treatment. If more than 5 liters - two bottles.
Engine treatment with Suprotec Active Plus additive is carried out in three stages.
- The first portion of the additive is poured into engine oil, a thousand kilometers before replacement. After a thousand kilometers, the used oil is drained and the oil filter must be changed. This stage is designed to clean the lubrication system, remove varnish and sludge deposits and form the first, initial layer of the protective film.
- The second portion of the additive is poured into fresh oil. At this stage, the formation of the main film occurs. Friction surfaces are completely enveloped by active components.
- At the next oil change (after the expiration of the time interval or mileage regulated by the automaker), the third portion of the additive is poured. Here, the composition is fixed in areas that were damaged or exfoliated after the second treatment.
Further, the composition can be updated at each oil change. However, the initial effect after the entire treatment cycle will persist for several tens of thousands of kilometers.
