Sym Joyride 180

The large Joyride 180 scooter already gives the impression that it is not a cheap product. In terms of design, it can be easily put alongside Japanese and Italian brands that have a very long tradition and are well established in the business. Maybe this is even the only thing that SYM actually lacks. And the title pays off, doesn't it? Well, Koreans clearly understand this very well and in no case overdo it with the price. A cheaper maxi scooter is unlikely to work (we haven't found it at the moment).

But first, first things first. The Joyride works quite seriously, with a large headlamp on a beautifully pointed nose that at first glance even slightly resembles a Honda Blackbird, that is, a large sports-touring motorcycle. In this way, the direction indicators are combined with aerodynamic armor just like a motorcycle. If you look behind the wheel, you can see a well-made dashboard that could do its job perfectly even in a small car.

Praise for the signal lights (light, pointer), which are clearly visible even in sunny weather. The steering wheel switches are logical and, like the front and rear brake levers, are easily accessible. When we grabbed the steering wheel and settled down surprisingly comfortably in the large seat, we found they put a lot of effort into ergonomics. The driver doesn't even close a little bit, and there is no annoying feeling (which is often present in scooters) that the steering wheel is in your lap. It can be comfortably driven by both small and large drivers.

There is enough room for the knees and legs in general, as well as protection from the wind. Considering we've ridden with it most of the time in just under ten degrees, you can trust us that we won't just forgive it for any annoying wind due to poor wind protection. This is another big compliment to him, since good protection of the rider from wind, cold and rain is one of the main criteria when evaluating the usability of scooters.

Well, let's not say that it doesn't blow at all if you go slowly. With a modern, liquid-cooled four-stroke engine, the Joyride develops a comfortable 120 km / h, and for something more you have to work hard. From the very beginning, it pulls well in front of the traffic light, all the driver needs is just to open the gas. Pure scooter classic, simple and useful, no sequences or anything like that.

The engine runs smoothly without unnecessary noise for a smooth ride when performing daily tasks. And when we wrote down our daily activities, we also seriously meant it. Such a scooter is suitable for use all year round, it is not recommended to ride it only on snow and ice, and for this time a car or a bus will do. Otherwise, you can quickly commute to work (the scooter does not know the city crowds) all year round.

The large underseat luggage compartment, with ample room for a bag and integral helmet, also speaks in favor of ease of use, and it can safely store two jet helmets without having room for two integral helmets. Since the seat is comfortable and large enough and the scooter is just the right size on a comfortable chassis, you can easily travel with your loved one, who will most likely enjoy the comfort of the chopper back.

For this price that Trgo Avtu offers (a reputable dealer name also provides service and parts), you get a lot. If you like this style of trendy scooter, you can't get out of the dark. You can use it at any time of the year. Scooter rides have never been so cheap and fun at the same time.
