| It is best to clean the darby as you use it and immediately after finishing work. So much faster and easier. The best way to clean a darby is to use warm water, a mild detergent (dishwashing liquid will do), and a soft brush. | |

 | Make sure your darby is clean after use. Any leftover concrete or plaster that dries out can crumble the next time you use it and mix with new materials, ruining your project. However, don't worry - it's not impossible to remove dried debris: there are several ways you can try. |
 | You can try to gently rub off dried plaster or screed with sandpaper or wire wool. You can also try using a dull chisel. However, Wonkee Donkee recommends wire wool, as sandpaper and chisels can scratch the aluminum. |
