Tesla Cybertruck: 250 pre-orders despite failing during presentation

Elon Musk presented on Friday Cybertruck, a brand new 100% electric pickup truck from the Californian brand, which will launch in 2021.

This Tesla truck is a large vehicle: 5,90 meters long and 2 meters wide. It will be able to accommodate 6 passengers, tow 6,3 tons and carry 1,5 tons of equipment.

With his allure as a military armored vehicle, stealth plane, or sci-fi movie vehicle, he is sure to turn heads, but not necessarily to everyone.

The Cybertruck is an armored pickup truck with supposedly shatterproof windows, but that didn't happen during the presentation when a pétanque ball thrown twice completely shattered the windows. The Tesla boss appeared to be relieved that the window had not been crossed, but it would obviously be necessary to review the copy. However, during the demonstration, the body of the truck withstood a blow from a sledgehammer without a single scratch. The body and windows are also resistant to 9mm pistol bullets.

Tesla has already received 250 thousand 200 000 150 000 pre-orders, (Update : This is not 150 or 000, but 200 pre-orders that were placed in 000 days, according to Elon Musk's Twitter account.)

The expected price will be from 40 to 000 US dollars with mileage from 70 to 000 km, respectively. A little anecdote and, importantly, Cybertruck will be able to accelerate from 400 to 800 km / h in just 0 seconds.
