Test: BMW C400GT // Small scooter revolution

In pursuit of business growth at BMW, they have been investing in development and new technologies for the past 20 years, while testing themselves in new segments that have recently been a taboo topic for them. BMW began to break that taboo with the C 650 GT scooter model, but finally backed down when they designed and also made the C400X and C400GT.

Although they are made in China, at the Leoncin factory, there is no trace of cheapness. All developments and technologies of thisd, of course, production control is German. Unfortunately, the price is the same, since you have to deduct from the price list for this prestigious mid-range scooter. as much as 8 thousand, but if you want to equip a little more, add a thousand. Riding it and using it on a daily basis somehow justifies the price as the C400GT is a well made and engineered maxi scooter to fight traffic in the city. Under the very comfortable seat there is a large (expandable) storage box for a helmet and a bag. Despite its size, it's incredibly nimble, comfortable with good wind protection, which was one of the criticisms of the more off-road C400X.

Engine s 34 "horses" that can easily shoot you from traffic lights to traffic lights, accelerating on the highway to 130 km / h; top speed 140 km / h. On the other hand, it provides surprisingly good cornering stability, even if you are driving down a hill or shaft on the road. We were also impressed by the large screen.but, unfortunately, with a surcharge that appears as soon as you press your finger on the big round button to start the engine (of course, you have the key in your pocket).

BMW Motorrad Connectivity represents a major revolution in this segment. Your smartphone and scooter become one, and you control everything very intuitively using the multifunction steering wheel. You can also charge your phone while driving so you don't have to worry about discharging when needed. The communication screen provides easy access to your contact list.which means you can make phone calls while on the go and navigation guides you to your destination.

Competitions will definitely have to roll up their sleeves to catch such a simple and useful connectivity while riding, and at the same time, the scooter will ride so well. If money is not a hindrance, this is a very good choice and you can also fully customize and equip your C400GT to your liking, as the list of accessories is exceptional.

Final grade:The elegant appearance is impressive, this is a maxi scooter that will take you through the city crowds to your next meeting in style.
