Test - Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro // Best Multistrada

The sporty character is embodied in every Ducati and therefore in the Multistrado. Sometimes there is even too much sport for my taste and a little too little comfort in these bikes, which were actually the first to seriously attack the class that BMW has dominated for years with its GS model. The Multistrada 1260 Enduro gives a good idea of everything, and I will repeat what I have said or wrote many times that this is the best Multistrada for me personally.

Ducati makes no secret of the fact that they want to address everyone who is close to the brand with this model, but they also want to explore beyond the asphalt roads on their travels.... But I tell you, you don't have to be an adventurer to be laughed at under the helmet when you are comfortably in the saddle, very well hidden from the wind and traveling very, very far. This is a motorcycle for long journeys on roads, bends, highways, and also on gravel. With him I also discovered the Istrian interior on tracks and enjoyed the ride, where I was always convinced by the good suspension and motorcycle cycling.

Riding this 225-pound, 158-horsepower enduro beast is a unique experience. He can be an athlete when you are traveling at over 200 km / h in a fully upright position, and he also feels good rolling down narrow streets through secluded villages.. The secret of success lies in the electronics setup, where there is really a large selection, and in the shoes. Front 19, rear 17 is a combination that sets this bike apart from the regular Multistrade and makes it more playful to ride, but it provides reasonably good road contact and good feedback, and above all, at least in terms of sensations, it works more calmly and stably. For dynamic driving, the engine does not need to be driven at high revs, but already at 3.500 rpm there is a lot of usable power and torque. However, when the fully digital meter is maxed out up to 9.000 rpm, you get the feeling that you are sitting on a Panigale.

While driving, it proved to be a suitable car for the demanding driver, but since the seat, steering wheel and pedals have been lowered, this beast will now be easier to control even for those with head height causing headaches. I also cannot pass by the very rich equipment. On the highway, you enjoy the comfort of cruise controls, smart switches and timers, a multimedia system for phone connectivity, a TFT color screen and LED headlights.... Safety is ensured by state-of-the-art engine electronics that prevent rear wheel slippage in all driving conditions, both on asphalt and off-road, and of course you can turn it off as well if you want to experience pure engine power. reliably.

For those who travel a lot, information on the service interval for valve adjustment every 30.000 km of run, and regular service every 19.000 km of run will be welcome.... Admittedly, Multistrada Enduro isn't cheap as it's a premium brand. The test car was richly equipped with a Touring Pack and costs 25.190 euros. This price also includes side housings and extremely rich standard equipment that would be difficult to add to your wishlist. Basically, you just sit on it and go very far whole. With a full tank, I drove a good 500 kilometers, and the average fuel consumption was 5,6 liters per 100 kilometers.
