After a recent, mostly design, but thorough renovation, Silverwing has once again turned into a real maxiscooter, which only attracts with its appearance. Technically and mechanically, the changes are modest, so if I rely on my memory from 2008, I can confidently say that the Silverwing hasn't improved much in terms of ride and performance. Even then, it was great and I seriously doubt that a slightly more demanding and spoiled scooter driver expects and needs more today.

But since over the past five years, Silverwing has also won competitionwho made a good announcement only five years ago (Gilera GP800, BMW, new Yamaha T-max, Piaggio X-10), the question is no longer whether he is good today, but whether he can convince a customer who is the scooter is ready to keep the minimum annual salary with regression.

The way it is. The Silverwing does attract fewer views than the larger Gilera (or now Aprilia), but it is therefore more agile. When he collided with the Bavarian scooter on the Trzin bypass road, the latter convincingly gained an enviable advantage. I also believe that the T-Max center stand will make it easier to walk on pavement when cornering, so you can connect your iPhone, iPad and what else to Piaggia. So what! However, this is a scooter, and as a daily user of this vehicle, I would argue that in the morning fog, in the rain, or when transporting a high pressure cleaner from the store, it doesn't matter how deep the slope can be. and what the navigation shows. no role. Scooters are especially appreciated use value, wind protection and comfort - in these areas Silverwing is a strong player and can do almost everything.

So there are still reasons to buy. They are convincing in comparison with the competition and for the price, and especially after renovation, this scooter penetrates the driver's skin even faster. Reliable combined and anti-lock braking system, good ergonomics and a lively engine relieve boredom while driving, an updated look and, above all, a new, extremely beautifully designed and beautifully illuminated dashboard at night, gave Silverving a much-needed pinch of nobility that his name promises.
