H: Husqvarna TE 310 ie

This new Husqvarna hides the genetic signature captured on it by Frenchman Antoine Meo, yes, the reigning E1 world champion. The name may be foreign to you, but nothing like that, the enduro championship is certainly not MotoGP, and although every kid knows who Rossi is, we cannot say that for the WEC enduro.

But the seal left by a rider like Antoine is very important to enduro motorcycles. At the World Championships, they test, destroy and “invent” everything to make motorcycles even better, faster, lighter and more durable.

The biggest new addition to Husqvarna for the 2011 season is undoubtedly the TE 310, which we sent ashore this time in our test.

Yes, despite the cold weather, you can ride the Enduro even in winter. We highly recommend this hobby as it is more fun than fitness and, above all, helps you get into the road bike season in a "polished" and great shape.

In short, we were happy to take on this white-black-red Italian beauty from Motor Jet in Maribor, the off-road motorcycle specialists who sell Husqvarnas and everything Zupin (German) under its roof on the outskirts of Styria.

Husqvarna retained the TE 310 name for 2011, but the bike is very different from the 2010 bike. The new one is based on the excellent TC / TE 250, which is renowned for its ease of handling. The frame, suspension, plastic, everything is like the smaller TE 250, the only difference is in the alteration of the drive motor.

Its volume has increased from 249 cc to 3 cc, which means more power and torque, as well as a more continuous power curve. In the enduro classes 302 and 3 cc. See It is currently the most compact engine on the market.

The engine adapts perfectly to all off-road conditions, as you can adapt the engine's character to the current driving conditions by selecting folder 1 (basic setting) or folder 2 (softer engine response to gas). If the terrain is flat, less technical, or if we are talking about a motocross track, then the basemap is the right choice, for a slower, almost test ride, the engine will be more efficient with map number 2, as the tire will have better grip.

Fuel injection can be played around at the service station, and if the driver has a little more knowledge and intends to drive a lot on motocross tracks, replacing the standard noise insert in the exhaust with a more open (supplied) maximum power increases and adds something needed. pepper for this riding style.

From the senses, we can say that the engine performance of the all-standard TE 310 is slightly better than the redesigned dedicated XC engine with 250cc (for example, equipped with full racing exhaust, redesigned camshaft, shorter transmission). ...

We liked the nature of the engine because it allows a beginner to master enduro skills, and at the same time when he seriously hits the gas, he spews out enough energy from himself to happily race with stronger opponents, say 450 cubic feet. ... four-stroke engines or 250 cubic feet two-stroke engines. We are convinced that time at speed with the TE 310 can be very competitive. But not only because of the power, but above all because of the exceptional ease of driving. The dry bike weighs just 106 kilograms, which is seven kilograms less than the 450cc version. This is very noticeable in the hands, especially after a full day of driving, as the TE 310 driver is far less tiring than the 450 or 510 cubic meter Husqvaren we have driven so far. The suspension, which is otherwise fully adjustable to suit individual needs and driving style, also played a big role in this performance package. Anyone accustomed to motocross will probably want a slightly tighter set-up, but for enduro riding where the bike has to breathe in a variety of terrain, we have no major concerns.

They go well with the size of the bike, the bike is small rather than large, but ideal for riders between 170 and 180 centimeters tall. We were very pleased with the slightly lower seat, which is 13 millimeters lower than the previous model. First of all, it matters when you need to help yourself with your feet. We were also surprised by the brakes, as their braking effect is much stronger than what we are used to at Husqvarna.

Thus, the Italians took a big step forward under the auspices of Germany. The components are of high quality and the bike is so equipped that you can take it straight from the car dealership to the race and it will survive there. There is no unnecessary drawing on it, which is extremely important for enduro. We also welcome the fact that they have managed to reduce their exhaust emissions to a reasonable level so that driving on country roads and forest paths will not disturb others. Yes, this is also related to the racing progress, which we talked about in the introduction. However, you cannot ignore the fact that you have a two-year warranty (when serviced by authorized service centers) if you are a licensed racer, and even a 20% discount and bonuses in the form of accessories and parts.

This gesture means a lot these days, so we add a big plus to the list of positive qualities, which this time is quite extensive. But the TE 310 deserves it.

Exceptional ease of driving, long range and proven concepts are good enough reasons to choose this Husko over the larger TE 449. Macadam, because in an airplane, due to the short gearbox, it reaches a speed of just over a hundred kilometers per hour.
