Brake Fluid

React Performance

This is a product with a higher boiling point compared to the DOT-4 standard. Created on the basis of various ethers and glycols traditional for the standard. The additive package allows you to well protect the internal surfaces of the brake system from corrosion, and also increases resistance to boiling. Neutral to rubber seals that are designed to work with DOT 3 and 4 systems.

Castrol React Performance Brake Fluid meets fairly stringent requirements, including SAE specification J1704 and JIS K2233.

Castrol's React Performance is often used as an alternative to low viscosity fluids labeled DOT-5.1. Due to the low viscosity, which fits into the minimum threshold of the DOT-4 standard, and the unprecedented incompressibility, Castrol React Performance improves the responsiveness of the brake pedal.

Brake Fluid

Brake fluid

Castrol Brake Fluid is a universal brake fluid designed to work in all systems developed according to the technologies of the US Department of Transportation for glycol fluids (DOT-3, 4, 5.1). It has proven itself in civilian cars operating in an intensive start-stop mode.

Brake Fluid was created based on polyalkylene glycol and boron ethers, which are mixed with glycols in carefully adjusted proportions. Improved with a package of additives with high inhibitory properties.

Castrol Brake Fluid complies with US Automotive Engineering Society J1703 and J1704 requirements.

Brake Fluid

React Low Temp

Castrol's React Low Temp (low temperature) brake fluid contains glycol ethers and boron esters. Combined with fortified anti-corrosion, anti-foam and viscosity-stabilizing additives, this fluid has a wide operating temperature range. The lower temperature limit far exceeds the requirements of most international standards. That is, this product is great for working in the northern regions.

Brake Fluid

Castrol low temperature fluid works well with computerized brake control systems equipped with ABS and ESP options. Meets high standards, including:

  • SAE J1703;
  • FMVSS 116;
  • DOT-4;
  • ISO 4925 (Class 6);
  • JIS K2233;
  • Volkswagen TL 766-Z.

This fluid is nominally compatible with similar products from other companies. However, the manufacturer does not recommend using it in conjunction with other brands of compounds, such as Shell brake fluid.

React SRF Racing

SRF Racing Castrol Brake Fluid was originally developed for use in racing car systems. The very high boiling point (liquid begins to boil only after heating it to 320 ° C) allows it to work under extreme loads.

Due to the considerable cost, React SRF Racing is rarely used in civilian cars. The composition contains unique components patented by Castrol. In this case, nominally, the liquid is allowed to be mixed with other glycol-based formulations. However, for maximum brake performance, the manufacturer recommends filling the system with 100% SRF Racing fluid and changing it at least once every 1 months.

What kind of brake fluid to fill in the car !!
