Toyota Land Cruiser 4.0 V6 VVT-i Executive

It is difficult to predict exactly what the end of the world will be, but something is known for sure. It will not be pleasant, let alone beautiful and neat, like most of the roads that we use in everyday life. Given this discovery, a solid, powerful and large vehicle will be more than welcome in the event of the end of the world. Let's say such as the Toyota Land Cruiser.

More than 50 years of history of Toyota Land Cruisers is another fact that testifies to the reliability and reliability of the technologies built into Toyota Land Cruisers.

Body attached to chassis for better torsional strength, permanent all-wheel drive for better ground contact, Torsen center differential with XNUMX% differential lock option to provide constant traction on all four wheels, and Torsen differential on the rear drive shaft, gearbox to boost of engine torque, rigid rear with adjustable rear height, individual suspension with four transverse rails at the front, increased ground clearance, HAC (Hill-start Assist Control), Downhill Assist Control (DAC) for downhill assistance in the field, system VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), ABS, A-TRC (Active Traction Control) and a few other colors can be found in the long list describing the Land Cruiser's perfectly designed all-wheel drive.

The drive also contributes to the perfection of the overall drive design. It was gasoline in a test Land Cruiser with a total displacement of four liters, divided between six cylinders, which were installed in the shape of the letter V. The result: with 249 "horses" or 183 kilowatts and 380 newton meters. This is the most powerful and flexible Land Cruiser of all time, and it can be darn fast or slow on the way, and especially always persistent. All of the above techniques and power, which make up the structure of the drive, allow it to be practically invincible on the ground and very good driving characteristics on an asphalt road. In the field, you have a huge amount of invincible equipment in stock to help you get out of even the biggest dilemma. The only exceptions are circumstances in which the Krizhark equipment will also fail, and only the winch will be able to help.

On the other hand, it is worth noting the overcoming of kilometers on paved roads. There, 249 "riders" will quickly take you wherever you go. However, since the average speed on normal roads can be quite high, Toyota has also taken care of the relatively large slope of the tall body.

Toyota Electronic Modulated Suspension (TEMS) is a polarized suspension that allows the driver to adjust the damping of the shock absorbers. With a choice of four settings (from comfortable to sporty), the driver communicates the driving style to Thames (eg fast on winding roads or slow on terrain), to which the suspension is then adapted accordingly. Thus, a sportier (read: harder) setting limits the body tilt and slightly increases the shaking of the car when driving on uneven roads, and with a more comfortable (read: softer) setting, the car leans more, but also better. eliminates unevenness under the wheels.

For all the superiority of advanced drive technology, only the automatic transmission deserves some criticism. In modern gearboxes (including automatic ones), gears of five, and recently six gears have been rotating for several years. This refinement results in greater "separation" of the gears and is primarily concerned with better utilization of engine torque and power, which is also reflected in correspondingly lower fuel consumption and, last but not least, greater driving comfort. Thus, the Land Cruiser's single four-speed automatic transmission shifted from a long fourth gear to third on nearly every highway slope, and the markedly increased revs also increased fuel delivery and increased noise levels.

Engine operation sounds nice, but when you want peace and quiet, it's damn loud and therefore annoying. When you then turn to a gas station about 400 miles later and fill up about 80 gallons of unleaded gasoline, you realize that the sport is damn expensive. The purchase of a Toyota Land Criser 14 V4.0 VVT-i Executive costs over 6 million tolar and is intended for just a few people.

In addition to all of the above "covers" of the drive system, the "executive" configuration also includes an excellent automatic air conditioning with three separate zones (front left / right and rear), a multifunctional touch screen, and a DVD navigation system. , a six-CD changer, heated seats, cruise control, an electric sunroof, leather on all eight seats (three of which are really emergency in the back row) and many other items, most of which are only meant to pamper passengers in the cabin.

Thus, the Toyota Land Criser is a car that, with a four-liter engine under the hood, is not afraid of endlessly long roads, if gas stations are often placed on them. Thanks to its superior all-wheel drive design, it performs just as convincingly in the field, even if it's as demanding as the worst doomsday ideas can be.

So if you have a little more than 14 million tolar in your wallet and even with a relatively frequent visit to gas stations it will not be difficult to subtract almost one and a half ulcers over and over again, we can say that we envy you and wish you a pleasant ride on your new Toyota Land Cruiser 4.0 V6 VVT-i Executive.
