Toyota implements systems to prevent accidents on the roads

In the next two years, Toyota will introduce a vehicle-to-vehicle communication system for select vehicle models that will allow vehicles to communicate with each other to avoid collisions. Information about the speed of vehicles will be transmitted by radio, which will allow you to maintain the appropriate distance.

A solution already installed on some Toyota models is known as Highway Automated Driving Assistance System (AHDA - Automated Driver Assistance on the road). In addition to technology for tracking other vehicles on the road, the company also offers a system for automatically keeping the car within the lane on the route. So the first steps towards "A car without a driver".

Another novelty is the “anti-fall” solution, i.e. preventing the driver from colliding with the footpath (Steer Assist). This technology will be implemented in Toyota vehicles after 2015.
