VAZ turbocharged engine with a volume of 1,4 liters

More recently, information has leaked on the network that Avtovaz is currently actively working on the production of a new 1,4-liter turbocharged power unit. Of course, many may think that this is very little, but do not forget that the turbine gives an unprecedented increase in power even for such a displacement. It is worth noting that until now, engineers have not produced anything more powerful than 107 horsepower, and this motor had an index WHA 21127.

The new engine, despite its rather small volume, promises to be somewhat more powerful and more interesting in terms of environmental standards and fuel consumption. So far, the official representatives have not said anything specific about the technical characteristics, so it's too early to discuss this new product. But there was a hint that the new Lada Vesta will receive this new turbocharged 1,4-liter engine.

Also, along with this information, it was said that now two more motors are being actively developed, it turns out, parallel to the turbocharged one, but nothing is known about them at all. Investments are already in full swing, and some examples have already passed reliability tests, so soon we will probably see a new 1,4-liter engine on the West sedan, which we were promised to show at an exhibition in Moscow in August.
