The VAZ 21099 car has long been out of production. Nevertheless, in the secondary market, the car is in demand today. Moreover, many owners want to emphasize the individuality of their car, making it stand out from many others like it. For this, various tuning methods are used, which will be discussed below.
Engine tuning
VAZ 21099 engines, especially injection engines, fully met the requirements of their time. They were distinguished by good throttle response and were quite high-torque.
Car owners wishing to improve the performance of the motor carry out chip tuning. This makes it possible with minimal cost to change the operating parameters of the motor by reprogramming the flash memory of the machine. Today for the VAZ 21099 there are a lot of different firmwares. However, the most popular among drivers are the firmware known as "Economy" and "Sports". An economical option allows you to reduce fuel consumption by 6-8%. Sports firmware will increase the throttle response of the engine and will suit those who like aggressive driving style.

Replacing shock absorbers
