In the Netherlands, began to sell electric Kia e-Soul Cargo
Kia Motors Nederland has launched the sale of the Kia e-Soul electric freight truck. The volume of the cargo compartment is about 1 m3. The cost of such a model is 39 euros, although the starting price of a passenger e-Soul is 077 euros. To convert from a hatchback to a van, you need to purchase a special package of parts. It costs 44 euros. If desired, you can easily return the passenger option, since the back row is not removed, but folded. The e-Soul electric motor produces 985 kW (2680 hp, 150 Nm). It accelerates to 204 km / h in just 395 seconds. And the maximum speed reaches 100 km / h. A 7,9 kWh battery allows you to cover 167 km in the WLTP cycle without recharging.
In the van, a raised floor is installed on top of the folded seats. A steel grill separates the front seats for driver and passenger safety. The design is fixed with six hooks. The charging cable is hidden under the floor. To connect to the network in the car there is a special outlet.
Basic equipment includes: a digital instrument panel, a UVO Connect media center with a 10,25-inch touch screen, climate control, TomTom navigation, electrically adjustable leather seats, heating and air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, front, side and rear parking sensors, rear view camera, Harman Kardon Premium Sound audio system, LED optics, etc.
The e-Soul Cargo version is considered the transition model to the next-generation electrified van and remains available only to the Netherlands.
