Skoda's first self-service electric scooter called BeRider was launched a few days ago in the Czech capital.

Electric scooters BeRider, supplied by the Spanish brand Torrot, can reach a maximum speed of 66 km / h. Powered by two removable batteries, they have a range of up to 70 kilometers without recharging.

« Our BeRider service ideally complements the range of city transportation options available in Prague. BeRider electric scooters are practical, environmentally friendly and easy to use, whether it be for work or for pleasure. »Comments by Jarmila Plac, head of ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab, Skoda's subsidiary responsible for service management.

Like most other services, BeRider electric scooters are offered in "free float". They can be picked up and left in an operator-defined area, a mobile app available for Android and iOS makes it easy to find and reserve cars. Reserved for owners of category B driving licenses, the service is charged at 5 CZK per minute or 0,19 EUR.

For those who wish to experience this service on their next trip to Prague, visit the official website: www.be-rider.com
