CVT Jatco JF010E or CVT RE0F09A or RE0F09B was assembled by the company from 2002 to 2017 and installed on some Nissan models equipped with powerful V6 engines. Also, such a box was installed on Renault Megane and Scenic with diesel power units.

Description of the Jatco JF010 E variator device
In 2002, the first generation of the Murano crossover debuted with a V6 unit and a CVT. This was the first attempt to equip a motor with a torque of 334 Nm with a continuously variable transmission. Such a box differed from its counterparts in the line by a reinforced design of a number of nodes and a large gear-type oil pump with a central engagement of the drive gear.
In all other respects, this is a completely classic CVT with a Bosch pusher belt, a torque converter, a 14-valve valve body, 4 solenoids, and a stepper motor.

The most notorious problem is wear on the oil pump pressure relief valve. The valve cover wears off over time, dirt gets into it and it starts to wedge. At the moment, there are a number of non-original substitutes of improved quality.
The first years of production, the belt in this box often stretched up to 50 km. Then his enhanced version appeared plus a less aggressive ECU firmware and he began to walk much longer. But until now, the most frequent repair is the replacement of the belt.
If you do not change the oil for a long time, then the dirt will get into the bearings and they will begin to hum strongly. Exactly for the same reason, valves or valve body solenoids wear out in the box. Another weak point of the transmission is the step motor and the electronic control unit.
The manufacturer claims a variator resource of 150 km, but it can also travel 000 km.
