Vello Bike +: self-healing folding electric bike

Through the KickStarter platform, Austrian manufacturer Vello is funding a revolutionary foldable electric bike that is both ultra-light and rechargeable while on the move.

An electric bike that is rechargeable? You dreamed about it, Vello did it by proposing to convert the kinetic energy produced by the cyclist when he pedaled into electrical energy, which is then re-fed into the battery. If the system is particularly appealing on paper, it is difficult to predict that this regeneration will be able to maintain 100% charge without resorting to sector charging at one time or another.

Another advantage of this electric bike: its weight is only 12 kg, which makes it easy to transport it even with a slight decrease in battery capacity with a declared range of 32 kilometers.

Funded through the KickStarter platform, Bike + raised almost € 500.000 80.000, which is six times the amount originally requested by € 2014. This is the second model from the Austrian manufacturer after the launch of the first classic folding bike on the same platform in the year XNUMX.
