Rail battery
Can't turn the battery key while it's on the bike?
Here, in a few steps, how to adjust the rail to properly turn on the battery of your electric bike:
Lift the saddle up (there is a small bar under the saddle to raise and lower the saddle).
Remove the battery from the Velobecane electric bike.
* On the rail (where the battery slides) there is a small hole where the battery bitonyau enters and turns off. The latter allows the battery of your Velobecane electric bike to remain locked.
If the bitoniau doesn't fit right in front of the hole, you just need to adjust the rail to the desired height. Either the rail is screwed on with one screw (which is just below the hole), or the rail is screwed on with two screws: 1st (therefore close to the hole) and 2nd, hidden below, under the base of the battery.
* If you unscrew the first screw and the rail can be adjusted, it means your Velobecane has only one screw. If, when unscrewing the first screw, the rail does not move enough, this means that the second screw is at the bottom, under the base.
To access the bottom screw, unscrew the 4 small screws at the base of the battery.
Remove the battery base (you will see the bottom screw).
Unscrew the bottom screw slightly, then the top screw and adjust the correct height of the rail so that the bitoniau is in front of the hole (if the bitoniau is above the hole, the rail must be lowered.bitoniau is below the hole, so the rail must be installed).
After adjusting the rail to the desired height, tighten the top screw, then the bottom screw. Finally, reinstall the base and tighten the 4 small screws.
Insert the battery back into the cyclobecan e-bike and make sure that when you turn the key, the bitonyau enters the small hole.
* If not, repeat the manipulation until the battery runs out perfectly.
The fact that the battery biton does not enter the hole properly is often due to vibrations caused by travel, during which the screws can loosen slightly and therefore distort the height of the rail.
Steering wheel adjustment
Do you have any play in the steering wheel?
Here's how to adjust the steering wheelset in a few steps:
If there is a headset on the steering wheel, bend the steering wheel first.
Using a 6 wool wrench, loosen the screw in the center slightly.
Remove the stem.
Unscrew the top nut, then remove the small ring.
Using a 36 open-end wrench, tighten the bottom nut again (not too hard because the handlebars will no longer turn, and not enough because there will still be play).
Replace the ring, then the top nut. Fuck hard.
Reinsert the stem, then also tighten the center screw very tightly.
Replace steering wheel.
If the game is still there, repeat the previous steps until the game ends.
