Driver! We don't hunt zebras - police security measures

Driver! We don't hunt zebras - police security measures Police officers from the Mazowieckie Road Police summed up the results of the second issue of Kierowco! We don't hunt zebras.

The main idea of the campaign is: "A well-mannered and safe driver is especially careful when approaching a pedestrian crossing, he is a partner on the road." The action is part of the “BiN” preventive program, that is, B as safe and N as unprotected. Activities with the "zebra" were held from September 4 on the territory of the entire Mazovian garrison.

The campaign took various forms. Most often, actions were organized in the area of pedestrian crossings and schools, during which leaflets with a message about our action were handed out to drivers. Meetings with police officers at schools and kindergartens were also very popular. The children participating in the action prepared banners and posters with the image of a "zebra" themselves, with which they then went out to the pedestrian crossings.

The editors recommend:

Rule changes. What awaits drivers?

Video recorders under the magnifying glass of deputies

How do police speed cameras work?

In addition, 720 stickers advertising the campaign were sent to all parts of the Mazovian garrison, which should be distributed mainly to carriers transporting people, especially children. About 300 cars stuck to the image of our "zebra".
