Care Key allows drivers to limit the maximum speed before handing over the vehicle to another family member or to younger and inexperienced drivers such as teenagers who have just got their driver's license. The company is now inviting insurance companies from several markets to discuss options for special, better deals for Volvo customers using the safety technologies under consideration. The exact terms of insurance will depend on the circumstances of each market, but Volvo is expected to announce the first in a series of agreements with insurance companies soon.
