The offer of a pentathlon marina, which is still under construction, will be complemented by the Sea-Doo water scooter and sports boat rental center, which is marketed and sold in Montenegro by the Slovenian company Ski & Sea. At the opening of the "water sports rental center in Montenegro" we had the opportunity to try out most of the new products of this year, including the updated RXP and RXT jet skis.

The main difference between them is the number of passengers allowed: while with the RXT you can drive two shrimp ladies, the sportier RXP only has room for one passenger behind the driver.

The extremely powerful motor is the same in both cases, as is the water brake, which reduces the braking distance at full speed from 70 to 30 meters. BRP believes this brake is as revolutionary as ABS was on motorcycles years ago. The brake is operated by a lever on the left side of the handlebars, which also activates reverse when the scooter is stationary.

In both cases, the stabilizer can be adjusted in three steps at the rear of the hull, allowing the boat to change its handling from more stable to more agile. The shape of the bottom has also completely changed - they say that the scooter has become more maneuverable and holds its direction better in a turn. Since I didn't get a chance to test the previous model, it's hard for me to comment on the claims, but given the weight and size of the low water formula, the handling is impressive.

Difference between RXP and RXT? Definitely sensitive. The sports scooter demonstrates a great will for quick changes of direction and turns, and thanks to the different seat design and plastics, it provides better contact of the body (legs) with the boat. So if you're looking for a sporting props and don't have a third to bend on the beach (or on a yacht), we recommend the RXP model.

After the trip, I was asked if I could draw a parallel with the motorcycle world. Yes, of course: in both cases, you are driving a vehicle / boat, which is primarily fun. Well, to be honest - even a car is not a necessary commodity for human existence ...

Krk's perspective: complete control over borrowing

Ototrak is a system fully developed in Croatia, more specifically on the island of Krk. Croatian Sea-Doo boat dealer Ivan Otulić, with the help of experts, has developed an application to control and manage rented jet skis for his own needs.

The system automatically tracks chartered jet skis using navigation and data transmission via the mobile operator: prevents rampage near the coast, slows down when two too fast scooters approach less than 50 meters, and provides transparent boat delivery statistics. The operator can also remotely control jet ski rentals using the iPad app.
