Traveling abroad is more expensive

Rising fuel prices mean we have to factor in much higher refueling costs when planning trips to Europe this year.

Right with the Oder we can experience the first push. In Germany, petrol PB 95 is on average 40% more expensive than in Poland. At our western neighbors, we will pay 1/3 more for diesel.

Due to more expensive crude oil in the world, as well as higher taxes than in Poland added to the price of fuel, traveling abroad by car may be much more expensive than last year. Unleaded gasoline in most countries of Western and Central Europe is 10-40 percent more expensive. than in Poland. The cost of fuel for cars with diesel engines is 10-30 percent higher.

Whoever goes on vacation to the Balkans will pay cheaper for fuel than we do. The exception is Croatia, which is popular with Poles - in the homeland of Marco Polo, fuel prices are 15% higher than in Poland.

We have good news for owners of cars equipped with gas installations. LPG filling stations can be found in most European countries, although not as common as in Poland. Most autogas in Western Europe is sold in Italy, the Netherlands, France and Belgium. In these countries, at the stations we will see the inscription LPG, which informs about the sale of this fuel.
