Harder than Ford Everest, Isuzu MU-X and Toyota Fortuner? 2022 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport being treated by Arctic Trucks

Mitsubishi's Pajero Sport has been refinished by Arctic Trucks, resulting in the AT35.

Mitsubishi's Pajero Sport is the latest model to be treated by Arctic Trucks, after assembly available for Toyota HiLux, Isuzu D-Max and Volkswagen Amarok.

Designed to perform in the toughest conditions, the Pajero Sport AT356 has received a number of improvements, including 17-inch wheels wrapped in 315/70 all-terrain tires, increased ground clearance, and a wide body kit that allows for a wider track.

The result is a ground clearance of 270mm, 52mm more than the standard Pajero Sport, and an increase in approach and departure angles to 34.5 and 28.8 degrees, respectively.

However, buyers hoping for more power will be disappointed as the Pajero Sport AT35 retains the stock engine as before.

That means a 2.4-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine delivering 133kW/430Nm to all four wheels via an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

It should be noted that the Pajero Sport is also offered with a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine in overseas markets such as Russia and the Middle East, which develops 162kW/285Nm.
