The latest in the series is the C400X, a medium-sized scooter made in China by partner Loncin, but BMW claims it is XNUMX% of their product. It is developed in Bavaria, the quality control is also German and therefore has a certain touch of nobility. Considering the fact that a significant share of the total production is absorbed by southern Europe and Germany, and a smaller share by the USA and Australia, This eliminates concerns and doubts about quality.as the market will bring them down.

The first thing that catches your eye is its square appearance (of the house), kand mentions a little the popular Danish dice. And this is in the good sense of the word. It is complemented (for the first time on scooters) with an excellent TFT screen that (at an additional cost) offers a lot of information and settings. The screen is so attractive that sometimes I prefer to look at it than at the road! So be careful. The scooter works easily in the hands, maneuvering in the city crowd is a real joy with the stock auto stabilizer, haha, it can also be started with a proximity key.

Although the name says four hundred, it is not, as it has a 350 cubic meter single-cylinder four-stroke engine that impresses with its low fuel consumption. The real joy is to squeeze the throttle at low revs and the C400X will bounce like a Bavarian mountain goat. Even at higher speeds (maximum - just below 140 km / h) remains stable. and has excellent directional control, possibly also because its geometry is similar to "real" motorcycles.

Unfortunately, the front windshield is not adjustable. There is a storage space under the seat for the helmet, which increases accordingly. While the design, including the headlight and beak, is somewhat reminiscent of the off-road GS family home, it looks pretty sporty. At least that is the feeling when driving. Brakes with ABS from the Chinese brand ByBree, which is a subsidiary of Bremba, are of sufficient quality. and at a level to instill confidence.
