Yamaha YBR125

It is like a fragrant cappuccino in which you indulge in peace and read the latest gossip in the newspaper as the city slowly wakes up before a pleasant summer day. YBR relies on the tried and tested formula of lower category motorsport. A simple steel frame with a short wheelbase (which makes it easy to guide) is fitted with a proven 125 cbm four-stroke unit that does not require any other maintenance costs from the owner beyond an oil change and is expected to have a very long life.

It is used as a lighter, does not pollute the environment and has a calming effect with its quiet hum. True, at times we wanted a speed of more than 100 km / h, but for driving around the city and its environs this was enough to have fun. It accelerates from traffic light to traffic light fast enough that there was no stress to overtake cars, squeezing through the main city arteries. While this may seem outdated at first glance, Yamaha has also taken care of safety and fitted the YBR with reasonably strong disc brakes.

In addition to a nostalgic return to the 500s and XNUMXs, the classic design also provides comfortable seats for both driver and front passenger. And for a price just under XNUMX thousand, you can’t accuse him of being overpriced. YBR is just awesome. Valentino Rossi would probably be happy to go with him.
