Yaris Cross. It is only making its debut in Polish salons. What are the prices and options?
Yaris Cross debuts in Toyota showrooms this week. The debut is accompanied by a week of open doors in the entire dealer network of Toyota Motor Poland. The Yaris Cross is a brand new model that promises to be a very strong player in the urban crossover segment. This is evidenced by more than 3100 vehicles ordered during the pre-sale. The Yaris Cross is equipped with an ultra-efficient hybrid system, AWD-i electric all-wheel drive, a very rigid TNGA-based design and high ground clearance, as well as advanced active safety systems as standard. Car prices start at PLN 76.
Open Days October 25-30 at Toyota showrooms
The Yaris Cross adds another B-segment vehicle alongside the Yaris hatchback to the Toyota lineup, while expanding its SUV lineup to five models alongside the Toyota C-HR, RAV4, Highlander and Land Cruiser. The car was designed in Europe with the needs of European customers in mind. The car is produced at the TMMF plant in Valenciennes, while the drives for it are manufactured at Toyota's Polish plants. The car will make its debut in Polish car dealerships, where open days are held from October 25 to 30, which is a good opportunity to see and test it during a test drive.
The Yaris Cross was very well received by Polish buyers, and the interest in it during the pre-sale, which lasted from June 1, exceeded expectations. To date, the number of ordered cars is 3110 72, of which 2237 percent (62 59) are hybrids. As many as 29 percent of new crossovers were ordered by private customers. XNUMX percent of orders are for higher trim levels, and XNUMX percent for AWD-i.
Four hardware versions
The new 2022 Yaris Cross is available in Active, Comfort, Executive and Off-road Adventure trims with four powertrain options - a 1.5 petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or CVT, and a 1.5 Hybrid Dynamic Force in front-wheel drive or FWD configuration. All-wheel drive AWD-i. The body color palette includes 9 color options and 12 two-tone combinations with a black, gold or white roof. Almost all 2021 cars are booked.
The base Active is available in petrol with manual transmission or front-wheel drive hybrid. Includes Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system with 7-inch color touchscreen, USB, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and Toyota Connected Car connectivity services. It also includes the full complement of the latest generation of Toyota Safety Sense active safety systems, including Cross Collision Avoidance, Collision Assist Steering, Adaptive Cruise Control and eCall Automatic Emergency Alert. Safety is also enhanced by seven standard airbags, including a central airbag between the front seats. In addition, the driver has a 4,2-inch color screen on the instrument panel, power, heated mirrors, manual or automatic air conditioning for the hybrid version, an armrest and LED daytime running lights. Prices for Yaris Cross Active start at PLN 76, while KINTO ONE Leasing installments start at PLN 900 net per month.
The Comfort package is available for all drive variants. Active trim, reversing camera, LED fog lights, rain-sensing smart wipers, 16-inch alloy wheels with 205/65 R16 tires, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Yaris Cross Comfort starts at PLN 80 with a petrol engine and PLN 900 with a hybrid drive.

The Executive version, available only with a hybrid drive, gives the car a more elegant, urban character, which is emphasized by 18-inch 15-spoke light-alloy wheels or brown fabric upholstery with black leather details. The vehicle is equipped with a blind spot monitoring system, as well as a cross-traffic alert system when reversing with an automatic braking function. The car in this version is offered at a price of PLN 113.
Yaris Cross Adventure
The Adventure variant emphasizes the character of the Yaris Cross as a true off-road vehicle, built for both city and off-road driving. Yaris Cross Adventure is available only with a hybrid system - front-wheel drive or AWD-i. It features two-tone bodywork, front and rear bumper grilles, roof rails, dark gray 18-inch alloy wheels, black headlining and interior upholstery with leather accents and gold stitching. The car received a new Toyota Smart Connect multimedia system with a 9-inch Full HD color touch screen, which can be supplemented with an 8-speaker JBL Premium Audio system. Yaris Cross Adventure costs from PLN 117.
The Adventure version can be upgraded with the VIP and Skyview packages. The VIP package for PLN 6 includes a head-up display (HUD), LED matrix headlights with Adaptive High Beam System (AHS), automatic headlight leveling and a contactless electric tailgate. The Skyview package includes a panoramic roof with manually operated roller shutters and costs PLN 500. The Yarisa Cross price list also includes other packages, accessories and additional options.
