The law in Poland allows you to drive a car if the amount of alcohol in the blood does not exceed 0,19 ppm. The condition after drinking alcohol (0,2-0,5 ppm) is an offense for which you can lose your driver's license for a period of 6 months to 3 years.... On the other side drunk driving, i.e. when the amount of alcohol in the blood exceeds 0,5 ppm, it is already a crime. This is punishable by a ban on driving for a period of 3 to 15 years and imprisonment for up to 2 years!

Carrying too many passengers

Many drivers are skeptical about this. the maximum number of passengers indicated on the registration certificate Your car. According to the rules, each additional person is subject to a fine of PLN 100 and 1 penalty point, but the consequences can be much more serious. It turns out that gross violations can even lead to the loss of a driver's license. The police can stop them if we are transporting at least 3 people more than the vehicle permit.

A driver's license can be refused for 3 months for speeding by 50 km / h in populated areas.if there are no extenuating circumstances, i.e. a state of greater need (for example, we will take a seriously ill person to the hospital). The police officer has the right to leave the document on the spot, after which the headman makes an administrative decision on this matter. However, this is not connected with the deprivation of rights, but with their removal - the document is returned after 3 months without re-passing the exam.

Exceeding the permissible number of penalty points

You will also have to reckon with unpleasant consequences when the allowed number of penalty points has been exceeded... In such a situation, the driver receives challenge for the testwhich consists of a theoretical and practical part. Failure to comply with one of them or failure to appear on time means the loss of the right to drive a vehicle, that is, the need to repeat the entire course to obtain a driver's license. The penalty point limit is currently 24, except for drivers with a driver's license for less than a year. In their case, it is lower and amounts to 20 points.
