Why smart car owners always carry paraffin candles in the glove compartment

What only sophisticated and ingenious solutions will not be pushed by the eternal domestic tandem of economy and thirst for beauty. We are ready to smear, rub, polish, splash and heat - as long as it is cheap and effective. Well, another life hack for the comprehensive restoration of interior plastic on the AvtoVzglyad portal fits this description completely.

No matter how much polish you spray and a rag, not three, but the plastic lining on the thresholds, seats and at the feet of the driver and passengers still look shabby. Well, our people do not know how to lift their legs, what can I say. That SUVs, that sedans with hatchbacks, that crossovers - all are subject to the passion to wipe their feet on a plastic lining. Talking, exhorting, screaming and arguing will not help - as soon as the passenger gets out of the car, he instantly forgets about the conversation. Well, that's why he's a passenger. And the driver and, often, part-time car owner, will only have to sigh sadly, wave his hand and take up the rag again.

Again 25: washed with water, wiped dry, applied polish, rubbed. And so on until the next passenger, who is so busy with his thoughts and so physically ill that without fail in the first 30 seconds of the trip "will multiply all efforts by zero."

The older the car, the less desire to run with a rag. Even less - buy polish. So, interior plastic is already covered with an impassable layer of dirt and becomes only a sad reminder of its former greatness. But there is a simple and cheap solution that allows you to quickly and, most importantly, cheaply restore it. No imported polishes and expensive ointments with flashy labels studded with hieroglyphs can compete with a simple paraffin candle: mineral wax has an amazing set of properties, one of which will help us a lot.

Let's leave the theory and go straight to practice: a candle - and this is the cheapest and most accessible source of paraffin - you need to set fire to and drip a little substance for polishing, which was previously washed with running water. Then comes the time of magic: we take a hair dryer, the most ordinary, homemade, and begin to melt the drops that have already thickened.

Paraffin will flow - it boils at a temperature of 140 degrees, which we cannot achieve with a hair dryer - and it remains only to rub it in an even layer. You don't need much, but if it's not enough at all, you can add. Covered with a thin layer of mineral wax, the threshold shines as brightly as it did not shine at the dealership. Perhaps the passenger will even be a little ashamed to wipe his feet on such beauty.

Salon plastic will look like new, dirt and dust will not stick to it, and the cost of the operation depends solely on the bottles of "foam" used in the process. The candle itself costs about 10 rubles, and the rags in our stocks will never run out. Such a solution, simple and incredibly cheap, will allow you to return the gloss to the interior of the car for many days, and when the magic is erased, you can always repeat it. After all, the budget is a penny.
