Draining old coolant

If the replacement is carried out in an elevator or bay window, the engine protection, if any, must be removed. When replacing without a pit, you can not remove the protection, otherwise the old antifreeze will get into the protection. Before pouring new antifreeze into the VAZ 2110, it is necessary to disconnect the heating hose from the throttle valve (on an injection engine), or the hose from the carburetor heating nozzle (on a carburetor engine) so that excess air leaves the cooling system. Pour new antifreeze up to the top of the expansion tank rubber strip bracket. We connect the hoses to the throttle or to the carburetor, depending on the model. Close the expansion tank cap tightly. There is a cheaper and easier way, you can simply flush the system with plain water, sequentially opening the radiator and engine caps.
