  • We install the car on a viewing hole.
  • Remove the right wheel.

the pulley bolt unscrews quite easily, the impact head is a short extension, and there is a comfortable handle on the lower arm. The silk in the starter and the bolt are stripped.

  • Unscrew and remove the engine cover.
  • We disassemble the exhaust manifold.
  • Drain the engine oil from the unit.
  • Unscrew and remove the cylinder head cover.
  • We turn the crankshaft and put the piston of the first cylinder in the TDC position during compression.
  • Raise the engine and remove and unscrew the right engine mount.
  • Remove the alternator belt.
  • Using a special tool, we do not allow the pulley to turn, unscrew the bolts holding the crankshaft pulley by 10-15 mm.
  • Having installed the KV111030000 puller, we press the crankshaft pulley.
  • Completely unscrew the pulley mounting bolt and remove the crankshaft roller.
  • Unscrew and remove the belt tensioner.
  • Disconnect the camshaft timing system harness connector
  • We unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the solenoid valve.
  • Using a ratchet and a head for bolts “by 22”, “by 16”, “by 13”, “by 10”, “by 8”, we unscrew the fixing bolts in the sequence indicated in the photo.
  • Cut the seams of the seal with a knife and detach the cap.
  • Inserting a rod with a diameter of 1,5 mm into the hole, tighten the towbar and fix it.
  • We unscrew the upper bolt with a sleeve, the upper fastening of the chain guide and remove the guide.
  • Remove the other chain guide in the same way.
  • First, remove the timing chain from the crankshaft sprocket, then from the intake and exhaust valve pulleys.
  • If necessary, remove the tensioner bracket.
  • We install a new timing chain in the reverse order of removal, combining the marks on the chain and on the pulleys.
  • We clean the gaskets of the cylinder block and the timing cover from the old sealant.
  • We apply a new sealant with a thickness of 3,4-4,4 mm.
  • We put the timing cover in place and tighten the screws indicated in the photo with the following force (tightening torque):
  • fixing bolts 2,4,6,8,12 - 75Nm;
  • fastening bolts 6,7,10,11,14 - 55 N m;
  • fastening bolts 3,5,9,13,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22 - 25,5 Nm
  • We assemble the rest of the parts in the reverse order of disassembly.
