Replacing the brake master cylinder with a VAZ 2106-2107

If you have a need to replace the brake master cylinder, then this procedure on cars such as VAZ 2106 or 2107 is very simple. The main thing is that all the necessary tools for this repair are at hand, namely:

1. Open-end wrench 13
2. 13 head with extension and ratchet
3. crosshead screwdriver
4. Split wrench for unscrewing brake pipes

First you need to unscrew all the brake pipes and hoses that are connected to the cylinder. The photo below shows the tubes that need to be unscrewed, and are marked with numbers:

Then we do the same with the hoses, only having previously loosened the clamps:

After that, we take the key 13 and rip off the nuts securing the master cylinder to the vacuum brake booster:

And to do all this faster and more conveniently, then you can use a ratchet with an extension and a head:

Then you can safely remove the cylinder, moving it away from the vacuum, as shown in the photo below:

Now we are buying a new cylinder, the price of which for a VAZ 2107 or 2106 is about 450 rubles and we are replacing it. Installation is carried out in reverse order. After that, it will be necessary to bleed the brake system if air has formed in it.
