Replacing the hood with Lada Largus

Even with a minor accident, the front part of the Lada Largus can be significantly affected, and first of all, the headlights, bumper and hood will suffer from this. If the hood of the car is badly damaged, then it will need to be replaced.

To do this, we need the following tool:

• 10 mm head
• rattle or collar
• wire cutters or sharp knife

First of all, we open the hood of the car and set it on the stop. Then, using the head and the ratchet, we unscrew two fastening bolts from the canopies. This is clearly demonstrated in the photo below.

We also do a similar procedure on the reverse side. So that nothing else interferes with the removal of the hood, it is necessary to bite off the clamp for fixing the washer hose with a sharp knife or nippers.

And disconnect the hose from the glass washer jets:

And when we have dealt with this, you can remove the hood, of course, all this time it had to be held, for which it is most convenient to perform this procedure with an assistant. Replacing the hood is carried out in the reverse order.

The price of a new hood for Lada Largus ranges from 5000 to 13000 rubles. The cost may vary depending on the manufacturer. Of course, the original is much more expensive than Taiwan.
