Replacing the front headlamp on a VAZ 2107

It is not so often necessary to remove the headlights on the VAZ 2107, and in most cases their replacement is required only in case of an accident, when it breaks, or due to darkening of glasses or reflectors. Also, there are cases that from hitting a stone, not only glass is broken, but also the reflector itself. In order to independently replace the headlamp assembly, you will need:

• Open-end wrench 8
• Phillips screwdriver

Instructions for removing and installing the front headlight VAZ 2107

I will show the whole procedure on the left headlight, but the right one is removed in the same way. The first step is to open the hood of the car and disconnect the power plugs from the low and high beam lamps, as well as the hydrocorrector:

Then, from the outside, you need to unscrew the three bolts using a Phillips screwdriver. All these bolts are clearly shown in the photo below:

Two of them are unscrewed without any problems, but the third one - the far left (in the direction of the car) is fixed with a nut, so you have to hold it with an 8 key from the inside:

After that, you can easily remove the VAZ 2107 headlamp unit from the back side by slightly pulling it with your hand:

That's the whole instruction, as you can see, everything is extremely simple and it will take no more than 10 minutes to complete this repair. Installation is carried out in reverse order. The price of a new headlight for a VAZ 2107 is about 1600 rubles for the original, with a yellow turn signal.
