Replacing the Cabin Filter Mazda 5

In this article, we will consider the technology for replacing the cabin filter in a Mazda 5 car, but first things first, let's decide why you still need an air cabin filter.

The cabin filter is used to create the desired microclimate in the cabin. The environment is rarely provided with dazzling cleanliness, and if you drive your "five" alone through the "fabulous taiga", then the cabin filter will be able to pass more than tens of thousands of kilometers without replacement. Likewise, a long service life of air filters operating in humid climates is guaranteed.

However, in conditions of dense urban development, street dust and saturated exhaust gases, the cabin filter can become clogged after a couple of thousand kilometers. This state of affairs is fraught with the fact that the air supply system inside the car will not be able to work at full capacity. So even if you turn on the car's stove at full power in winter conditions, the dirt in the filter will be heated not by you, but by you. Heating and air conditioning fans simply cannot force airflow through a clogged filter. Also, the harmful substances captured by the filter, when it becomes dirty, begin to fall directly into the car interior. It is unlikely that such dirt, dust and harmful bacteria improve your health and the health of your passengers. Dirty cabin air is especially unfavorable for people suffering from allergic reactions.

The procedure for replacing the cabin filter on a Mazda-5 car is quite affordable for doing it yourself. You can remove the old filter yourself. Some owners wash the filter themselves. However, various modifications of air filters have a special aseptic impregnation, which simply disappears during automatic washing. Different filter models have different air purification characteristics. To understand whether a filter replacement is needed, it is better to be guided not by the instruction manual, but by personal feelings or visual inspection of the filter.
