Open the hood, remove the air filter, disconnect and remove the battery. Unscrew the two screws that hold the box:

2 bolts:

Short bolt in front, long bolt in back. Next, remove the starter:

First we unscrew our terminal, then the fasteners (it is held on by three bolts). Using a 17 open-end wrench, unscrew the clutch cable:

Remove both front wheels. We unscrew the nuts from the hubs to remove the drive:

Unscrew and remove the engine bellows from under the wheel arch. We disassemble the crankcase protection (if you have one). Freeing the Crab Nut:

We unscrew the bolts from the crab:

We unscrew the stabilizer screw using the head and wrench at the same time:

Loosen the two ball joint screws:

After that, you can remove the lever with a stretch, so that later the box can be easily pushed aside. Unscrew the drain plug of the gearbox:

We replace the container where the oil will drain. After draining the oil, the plug must be screwed back. We take out the disk using the mounting tool:

Remove the reverse sensor cover. Unscrew 3 screws from the case:

We unscrew the upper starter bolt in advance, now we twist the two lower ones:

After that, the starter can be removed. We turn off the backstage (here we have a suspension from Kalinovsky):

Disconnect the plug with wires that goes to the speedometer. We unscrew the side pillow from the body:

Loosen the rear cushion support:

We unscrew the last two screws that secure the box to the engine:

We proceed to disassemble the gearbox, for this it is best to involve an assistant, since the gearbox is very heavy. We changed it a little from the engine with the mount:

We take the body and take it aside. We insert the input shaft cartridge and unscrew the old basket, it is mounted on 6 bolts:

We clean the seat of the clutch disc from dust and dirt. We apply the coupling with the convex part to the basket:

We introduce through the cartridge on the input shaft:

We screw into place. Lubricate the guide sleeve, splines, fork seat and release bearing:

We fix it on the seat:

We connect the box to the motor. Next, we assemble everything in the reverse order, only to insert the rear pillow, you will first need to raise the box, for this we use the UAZ connector.
