  • a hammer;

  1. Spin the wheels. 
  2. Remove the protective cap of the hub.
  3. Bend back the collar nut you find inside.
  4. Have an assistant apply the brake and begin to unscrew the nut. In some cases it is necessary to use a rust remover or heat the element itself.
  5. Remove the suspension arm mounting and tie rod ends.
  6. Pull the spline out of the hub and remove the pivot from the drive shaft with a hammer. Then clean off the grease from the end of the axle shaft.

  1. Squeeze half a tube of lubricant onto the ball track. 
  2. Slide the rubber boot onto the axle shaft, starting at the narrow end. Check if there is a retaining ring on its end. If you see this, you can put on the cap.
  3. Use a hammer to hammer the ring into place.
  4. Use the remaining grease inside the rubber boot. Be careful that the substance does not leak out.
  5. Put the pouch on your wrist and tighten the strap and collar.
  6. Place the prepared part in the hub and screw all the elements removed earlier.
  7. If you did everything right, the joint replacement is over.
