How often do you need to replace?
The Hyundai Accent fuel filter is replaced in accordance with the requirements of the maintenance schedule at every third maintenance, in other words, at an interval of 30 thousand kilometers.
In practice, this interval can vary widely: using only proven gas stations, you can leave the filter and all 60 thousand, and "left" filling can lead to a significant loss of performance on the trip. However, given the simplicity of the replacement process and the low price of the filter, it makes sense to focus specifically on the requirements of the maintenance schedule: by replacing the fuel filter with a Hyundai Accent with a mileage of 30, you can be sure of its performance.

Fuel filter replacement instructions
Everything is easy to do by hand. The maximum tool you will need is a thin flat head screwdriver.
To begin with, relieve the pressure in the fuel system, as it may remain after a long shutdown of the engine. The easiest way to do this is to remove the rear seat so as not to carry out unnecessary operations.
So, lifting the seat, you can see an elongated hatch that covers the fuel pump assembly and the filter itself.
This hatch is glued at the factory to a viscous putty that hardens over time. Thus, it may not give in if you pull the two ears in front. In this case, a screwdriver is useful, which you need to carefully pry and tear it out of the putty, slowly moving the screwdriver to the side.
Now you can start the engine and at this time remove the connector from the fuel module cover; when line pressure drops, the engine stops. After that, you can turn off the ignition and proceed to remove the filter.
The fuel filter is visible to the left of the fuel pump. It is held in place with a flexible plastic brace. Disconnect the filter's ground terminal first.
Now, having opened the support with the same screwdriver, we take out the filter; it will be more convenient to disconnect the quick disconnect fuel lines. Next, remove the latches one at a time, pressing on the side parts of the plastic latches; they differ in color from clasps and are easy to find.
They must be carefully removed so that dirt and dust do not enter the line after the filter; this will clog the injectors.
Having connected the fuel lines to the new filter, we insert it into the bracket and return the ground wire to its place.
Now it remains to put the hatch in place (the putty can be heated with a hairdryer to soften or glue the hatch with silicone sealant), install the seat and turn on the ignition several times so that the pump works pre-start cycles, pumps the system, expelling air from it.
