Replacing the fuel filter on the Priora with your own hands

The fuel filter on the Lada Priora car is made of a metal case and is not collapsible, that is, with a certain mileage of the car, it must be replaced. On the recommendation of the manufacturer, this should be done at least once every 30 kilometers. On the Priora, the filter is located at the back of the fuel tank, just like on the 000, so the replacement procedure will be almost the same. The only difference will be in the fastening of the fuel hose fittings.

So, to perform this simple repair, we need a 10 head with a ratchet handle:

First of all, we drive the car into a hole or raise its rear part with a jack. After that, in the back of the car we find our fuel filter and, using the head and the ratchet, unscrew the bolt of the fastening clamp of the fastening clamp:

After that, it is necessary to disconnect the unions of the fuel hoses from the filter, after pressing the metal clips and pulling the hoses to the side:

Please note that in the above photos there are different filter mounts, do not pay attention to this! They are different depending on the model year of the car. If we consider the fastening clamp, which was shown below, then it is necessary to slightly unbend it and remove the filter:

After that, we take a new filter and install it in its place in the reverse order. The price of a new fuel filter for Prioru is about 150 rubles.
