Replacement of the rear window VAZ 2114 and 2115

On most Lada Samara cars, such as VAZ 2114 and 2115, front electric and rear mechanical windows are installed from the factory. Regarding the mechanisms of the front doors, in previous articles the process of replacing the power window of the door was described, and as for the rear ones, we will consider everything here.

To complete this simple repair you will need:

1. 8 and 10 mm head
2. Ratchet or crank
3. Extension

How to remove the rear mechanical window regulator on VAZ 2114 and 2115

The first step is to remove the door trimto get to the fastening of the entire structure. Then, using a 10 head, unscrew the nuts securing the power window trapezoid to the car door - two in the center, as shown clearly in the photo below.

Now we unscrew the three nuts for securing the lift with an 8 mm head, which is shown in the photo.

When this has been done, you can unscrew two more bolts attaching the trapezoid to the glass itself, lifting the protective curtain. The glass can be fixed by any means at hand so that it does not move downwards and does not interfere with the repair.

Now we click on the pins of the window regulator, we pass it inside the door:

And only after that it is possible to release the entire structure, bringing it out through the largest technological opening in the doors of VAZ 2114 and 2115.

Now you can replace this part with a new one, if necessary. You can buy a new mechanical window regulator for VAZ 2114 and 2115 in almost any spare parts store at a price of 350 rubles apiece. Although, nothing worse at auto disassembly, you can purchase a part for only 150-200 rubles.

The rear door window regulator is installed in the reverse order of removal. The entire repair is unlikely to take you more than 20 minutes of time, taking into account all the steps described above.
