Replacing the rear axle axle of the hub on the Lada Priore
The rear axle shaft on the Priore, or as it is called, the hub axle, has to be changed in exceptional cases, since the design of this part is very durable. And most often this can happen due to cases such as:
- As a result of an accident with a side impact to the rear of the car, with direct damage to the beam
- When hitting a hole at high speed. In this case, you need to try hard to bend the hub axle - this is practically impossible
- Thread failure on the axle itself is the most common case in which it is necessary to change the axle to a new one.
In order to carry out the necessary repairs on your own, you will need the following tool:
- 17 mm head
- Ratchet and crank
- Extension
- Hammer
- Penetrating grease
- Phillips screwdriver - preferably power

Otherwise, in the process of unscrewing one or more of the bolts may break, which happens quite often.[/colorbl]
If you suddenly have a similar problem, you will have to drill out the remnants of the bolt and restore the threads in the rear beam. The price of a new part for Prioru is about 1200 rubles per piece. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
