Green license plates? Green letters? Confusion with professional license plates
A few days ago, information was published on the Polish Internet that from July 11, 2019, license plates with green letters, which some media call "green license plates", will be in effect. These are professional license plates not related to electric vehicles.

The portal Wirtualna Polska (source) first wrote about the green font on a white background, and the "green boards" were reported by Highest Time magazine with reference to Wirtualna Polska (source).
Indeed, from July 11, 2019, they will enter into force in Poland. professional license plates. Their "professionalism" will consist in the fact that they will issue, among other things, car dealerships - a car dealership will be able to use the same professional license plates on different vehicles.
It follows from the draft regulation that professional license plates should be distinguished from ordinary ones. Therefore, they will have:
- green letters (download: Regulations - Professional license plates - document 350734, chapter 4, paragraph 13, paragraph 2),
- the letter "P" in the center of the array, after the distinctive sign of the voivodeship and county and the distinctive sign awarded in the decision to grant professional registration marks, for example, in the following sequence: D01 12P3A [imaginary example may be wrong].
Green plaques for electric vehicles
The green letters of professional boards have nothing to do with green boards. probably electric and hydrogen-powered vehicles will be available already in 2020. It is possible that they will look like the following visualization:
