Why did I choose Skoda Enyaq iV and what do I like about it?

Competition

I am a father and a dog lover. I chose the Enyaq among other reasons because the dog fits into the trunk without any problems. And the child sits high and sees everything. AND Tesla Model 3 she is tiny, the stroller will not even fit into me. Mask sells thousands of cars per block, and we're glad we have one empty showroom with less maintenance than a workshop in my village. If only 1 percent of cars in Poland were out of order or required paint repairs, I would wait months for my car to be repaired. And while no one will give me a replacement pending service.

Yes, if I were a sales representative and traveled a lot in Poland alone, I would take the Model 3 Performance without hesitation. Though? ... In fact, I am also pragmatic. I live in Wroclaw, every breakdown [Tesla] will mean transportation by tow truck to Warsaw. Or god knows where.

My pity

I also chose Skoda because weird things are happening right now with prices, premium brands, etc. When I was setting up Audi e-tron (first), I was surprised that compared to Enyaq, I can only choose night vision and air suspension from additional devices not available in Skoda.

What can I say about the car? I have never driven a single pedal car so I don't feel the need for the car to come to a complete stop without touching the brake. Probably, if I used and got used to it, it would be the behavior of Skoda [recuperation combined with braking, but only up to 5 km / h - approx. ed. www.elektrowoz.pl] would be a disadvantage for me.

In Bjorn's 1km test, the Skoda is in close proximity to the Tesla. Anyway, here is my energy consumption after almost a thousand kilometers: 000 kWh. Little things? On 19-inch wheels, it slides through holes like a tank. I have bad roads in my area and the driving is very good, although the corners feel light weight and swollen tires. But this is when the speed limit is significantly exceeded. I like that the light is spinning and that when you drive the "long" in automatic mode, and the approaching road signs are brightly lit, then the car reduces the light intensity.

I was finally surprised that vehicle detects moving trucks and cars i distinguishes them from each otheras reflected in the display. In HUD also highlights cyclistswhich we will overtake.

There are also functions that I don't know exactly how they work with yet. For example: all weather lanterns... And, funnily enough, I don't know what the function of right steering wheel roll is. Either it doesn't work for me, or it isn't tied to any Enyaq function.

In addition, I am testing the function of automatically turning on the heating of the steering wheel and seats, depending on the outside temperature. I don’t know the details yet, I just noticed that the seat heating turned on at 11 degrees. I'm new to the headlights above the driver and rear passengers - when driving at night they glow softly which looks cool. And the ambient lighting is great.

Minuses? The dashboard is reflected in the windshield when we drive in bright sunlight. In the Passat I didn't have it, I think I'll have to get used to it. That's all for now.
