DAB Concept-e: new French electric motorcycle

Classed in the 125 equivalent category, the small city electric motorcycle from DAB Motors may be launched in the near future.

A French SME based in Bayonne, DAB Motors is investing in the electric motorcycle segment. On Monday July 19th, the young manufacturer unveiled the Concept E, a small city electric motorcycle.

Currently presented as a concept bike, DAB Motors 'latest creation uses carbon fiber, Öhlins' suspension specially designed for this project, and Beringer aluminum brakes to reduce weight. It all culminates in a Gates belt drive and upholstery in ripstop, a fabric commonly used for sailing yachts and technical clothing.

Classified in category 125, the small electric motorcycle from DAB Motors is powered by a 10 kW electric motor and a 51.8 volt lithium-ion battery. Top speed, acceleration, range… the Concept E's specs have not been disclosed at this time. The same applies to its recharge capacity.

« CONCEPT-E embodies our bold vision for urban mobility. This electric exercise could mean that DAB Motors is looking to enter the electric vehicle market in the near future. »Brand founder Simon Dabadie announced.
