Ducati multistrada

Otherwise, the second from Ducati is also not to be expected. They skillfully used the enduro bike class to increase the offering, but not to compete with KTM, Husqvarna and the like, as they put in a bike that excels in areas where Ducati is strongest. Not convinced by the design? Okay, we may even have to agree with you here, but in doing so, we must not lose sight of the fact that the Multistrada is a rare specimen, so you do not confuse it with competitors. Today it is clear to everyone that this is Ducati. Even for those who do not understand motorcycles.

The frame is tubular like other Ducats, the Marazocchi fork is up front, the Sachs shock is adjustable at the rear, the brakes are Brembo like all Ducats, and a cursory look at the names of the subcontractors clearly shows that the conditions for sufficient pleasure during cornering are met. Since we are talking about the smallest Multistrada, which is also the youngest (it was born this year), it is correct to say that compared to the 1000 cc seat is lower (by 20 millimeters), that the fuel tank is smaller (by five liters ) that you will not find an on-board computer among the instruments and that behind the frame is a two-cylinder engine (L-twin) borrowed from the smallest monster.

Do you still dare to talk about a motorcycle that is not afraid of rubble? Sit on it and your hopes will disappear in an instant. The seat, as in the case of road bikes, is significantly recessed, the seat is otherwise upright, but the rumble and two exhaust pipes routed under the seat again clearly show the character of the motorcycle. The accelerator, brake and clutch levers, as well as the transmission pedal, are surprisingly obedient to commands. The real opposite are some of the less important parts that are attached to the motorcycle in Italian. At first glance, it even involuntarily seems that you are sitting on a damaged motorcycle.

But don't worry, as we're talking about Ducati. This means you won't blame him for it. Other things comfort you. For example, the engine, which is surprisingly sharp despite its 63 "horsepower". It only fails when two hit the road. The relatively short wheelbase and modest weight promise easy cornering. And if there are still real tires on the rims, this Multistrada can be an amazingly fast motorcycle. Obviously, also thanks to the excellent brakes, which always ignore the driver's commands and do not go out of action blindly.

Be that as it may, Ducati executives are clearly not lying: Multistrada combines the comfort and convenience of enduro with the precision and power of road bikes.
