Electric bike: Lyon confirms purchase assistance of € 100 for 2018

As part of its policy of supporting sustainable modes of transport, Métropole de Lyon has just announced a financial aid of € 100 for the purchase of an electric bike.

Finally ! The time that the metropolis Lyon reminded of before putting aside the help with the purchase of electric bicycles is finally fixed. The subsidy is limited to 100 euros and is intended for residents of the 59 municipalities of Metropol de Lyon. The subsidy covers three categories of equipment: electric bicycles, folding bicycles, and cargo and family bicycles (tandem, bicycle and tricycle).

Interestingly, assistance is also provided in the case of purchasing a used e-bike. Wishing to give preference to local actors, the metropolis obliges to make purchases from a professional merchant established in the territory of the Lyon Metropolis, or in an associative workshop for the self-restoration of the metropolis.

Budget 250.000 Euro

In all, Métropole de Lyon voted for a budget of 250.000 to 2500 euros for this new device, which is enough to fund XNUMX cases.

In practice, the aid can be combined with a state premium, that is, in the amount of 200 euros. Reserved for tax-free persons, national assistance is capped at € 100, which cannot be more than applied locally.
