Fiat Panda Panda is the most economical car

Equipped with a Bipower 1.2 8V engine running on natural gas or petrol, the model can travel up to 251 km for 10 euros, according to ADAC tests for comparing vehicles running on different fuels.

The German Automobile Club (ADAC) conducted original tests of cars of different categories and with different types of power plant. The goal of the experiment was to drive as far as possible on fuel costing 10 euros. The test winner was the Fiat Panda Panda, which drove 251 km, which is equal to the distance between Berlin and Hannover. Given the fact that it is now the summer season, a Fiat can travel 1 km on methane for only 500 euros - a unique record of its kind proving that it is possible to travel economically by car, despite a noticeable increase in gas mileage. and diesel prices.

ADAC has carried out tests on almost every type of car known, from small two-seaters to super sports cars. Some of them gave up after 30 km. The organizers of the ADAC test gave preference to cars with a gas engine. Among them, the first place was taken by the five-seater Fiat Panda Panda. The following types of fuel were used in the test at the price of 1 liter: super gasoline - 1,55 euros, super plus - 1,64 euros, diesel fuel - 1,50 euros, bioethanol - 1,05 euros, liquefied gas - 0,73 euros and EUR 0,95 per kg of natural gas. the gasoline used to drive the Fiat Panda Panda.

The floor plate of the Fiat Panda Panda - using a unique mounting technology - has two independent methane tanks with a total capacity of 72 liters (12 kg), which allows you to save the original interior and trunk space (depending on the rear seat, full or separate, the trunk volume varies from 190 up to 840 dm3 up to roof level). In addition, the gas tank capacity (30 liters) allows you to travel to places where the network of gas stations offering methane is not too dense.

The efficiency of the Fiat Panda Panda does not limit its performance: the 1.2 8V Bipower engine accelerates the car to a speed of 140 km/h when running on natural gas (and up to 148 km/h when running on petrol). Importantly, the natural gas-powered Fiat Panda Panda is environmentally friendly with CO2 emissions of just 114 g/km. It is an innovative, economical and environmentally friendly vehicle. In Italy, the Fiat Panda Panda costs €13 for the Dynamic version (pictured at the back) and €910 for the Climbing version (pictured from the front).
