Honda CB 1300 SA (ABS)

His cousin's wife said it was the most beautiful motorcycle she had ever seen. I'm not saying that the big black two-wheeled car doesn't look very impressive and a little intimidating, but here I find it difficult to agree with that, because I prefer to keep an eye on some Aprilia, Ducati. … A matter of taste. As well as age and related maturity. In conclusion: The CB 1300 is designed for experienced riders. For those who were left indifferent by stuffed road bikes, but still would have remained quite "real".

Technically, the CB is nothing special: the classic frame design, to which is bolted a large four-cylinder engine with modern electronic fuel injection and a gearbox with “only” five gears. The rear suspension is interesting in that there are practically no dual shock absorbers today.

The gaze will stop at the huge, sharply shaped rear with a large lantern and a holder for a passenger that can be rotated in the direction of travel (the lady will feel even better). We look in vain for errors in terms of comfort, as the seat is pleasantly soft and so long that there is room for drivers of all sizes. However, since the seat is not suitable for fast transfers and the suspension tells the driver not to sit on the CBR when driving faster, this engine is not recommended for sports-minded drivers.

Most praise deserves the unit, which transfers power very quietly to the rear wheel from idle, which makes the bike very pleasant to use. We already felt better in the Honda boxes, but since he is a calm worker, we did not scold him much.

The wind protection is solid, next to the steering wheel we find a useful drawer for documents, wallet and phone, there is surprisingly plenty of space under the seat. The ABS brakes are non-aggressive and strong enough, and the fuel consumption is about seven liters per 100 kilometers.

This is an engine for those who just want to ride. With such an engine, driving can really be a pleasure even for two people while climbing Vršić. After a few hundred kilometers, it seems like 100 is just right, and it's hard to imagine how other motorcyclists can even mess around on, say, motorcycles with a volume of 1.300 cubic meters. Yes, a man quickly gets used to ...
