Honda zoomers
Therefore, the buzzer, as it was called in Europe, also comes to us. What is so special about this somewhat funny and far from classic scooter that many are so excited about? Just look at him! Doesn't that make you laugh when you see him?
But let's not scoff at the fact that there will be no mistakes. The first reaction of most people who have already seen him live: “Oh, how cute he is! “And trust me, it's still true. A pair of round headlights on the nose give it the shape of an insect, belly-shaped rubber, a wide handlebar and a completely minimalist design all come together. At first glance, the tubular frame may seem cheap, but a closer look reveals that everything is in place with the clear purpose of being useful.
Under the seat, where the box would otherwise have been covered with plastic, is a large and very useful suitcase. Honda offers a bunch of Zoomer accessories from various carriers to the web. This makes it easy to carry a bag, skateboard and the like under the seat. But that's not all. Since there is plenty of room on the footrest, you can store large luggage there as well. Delivering a crate of beer to a friend's party is easy.
It was about simplicity and a little about usability. How is this issue resolved? Well, the 50cc four-stroke engine. A water-cooled, four-valve, direct-injection Cm can drive pretty decently out of town, and the final speed is, of course, legally limited to 45 km / h. Otherwise, this extremely clean and economical engine (with a liter of gasoline, it drives a little over 50 kilometers) is a revolutionary new technology that was first used on the super sporty Honda VFR.
You turn the key and press the button, the engine starts immediately and without a heavy starter. Electronics will take care of everything. The buzzer is designed in such a way that it does not require any maintenance other than refueling with clean unleaded gasoline and test fluids. And the price for this miracle? A good 500 thousand for such a high-tech doesn't even seem like a lot.
