You can personalize your car using a variety of techniques. According to many car owners, the headlights painted from the inside look very beautiful. You can paint the headlights from the inside in a special salon for tuning a car, or you can do it at home, since there is nothing particularly complicated here, but you still need to be very careful not to paint over the headlight elements and avoid paint drips that will affect the future on the brightness and directionality of the light beam.

If you decide to paint the headlights at home, then you will need the following tools:

During this operation, “pitfalls” may also appear, namely, it is not always possible to remove the glass from the headlight housing. Usually the glass is fixed on a special sealant that melts at temperatures above 200 degrees, in some models the glass is fixed with epoxy glue, in addition, there are grooves on the body and the glass enters them. In this case, you have to carefully cut it out, and then glue it back and polish it, or you will have to buy a new glass for the headlight.

With the help of a car or building hair dryer, the sealant melts and becomes soft. Some drivers melt the sealant in the oven, putting the whole body there if a hair dryer is not available. Then the sealant must be carefully cut with a clerical knife. When the glass was removed, and it was not damaged at the same time, then we can assume that the most difficult part of the headlight painting operation is over.

The next step is painting the inside of the headlight. The most important thing at this stage is to protect the reflector from paint, for this you need to seal it with masking tape.

Using a can of quick-drying heat-resistant paint, paint the surface. It is not necessary to spray the paint all over the surface at once, it is better to gradually paint in parts, because if the paint starts to dry out, bumps and streaks will appear. You can go through the paint in several layers - at least two layers, because if the paint lies poorly, it will begin to flake off over time.
